Joan B. Tripp

Joan Tripp's grandfather Alfred C. Bates showed at the Royal Academy, England. Her father studied at Academie Beaux-Arts in France. Joan studied with Madame Marec from France while in her teens. Later she graduated from Ithaca College with a BS, and received her MA in Special Education from CW Post. Tripp has been an Associate Broker with Allan M. Schneider Associates and the Corcoran Group since 1991. She has painted off and on most of her life and adores surrealism and Salvador Dali. Her idol is Georgia O’Keefe and she is greatly influenced by the French Impressionists.
