Nancy French Achenbach

Nancy French Achenbach is from a fourth generation Sag Harbor family. She retired here in 2003 after spending most of her adult life in the Washington, D.C. area. She took up painting in 2005 and since returning home has been studying with Michael Viera at the East Hampton Academy.

The focus of her recent work has been the local landscape, seascape and environs. She has had showings locally at Guild Hall, Amagansett Applied Arts, Sylvester and Company, the recent Save Sag Harbor Show, The Water Mill Museum and at Eleven Madison in Sag Harbor.
